Estelle O. Knight

Mrs. Estelle Overton Knight, 99, of Smithsburg, died Monday, March 9, 2015, at Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village, Boonsboro. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Knight, who preceded her in death in 1979. Born April 22, 1915, in Pinetops, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charles and O'delia (Parker) Overton. Estelle is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Dray and husband James Sr., son, CAPT, USN (ret.) Curtis Knight and wife Patricia, grandchildren, Jim Dray and wife Pam, Diane Dray and husband Patrick Benda, Paul Dray and wife Sophie Sterling, Kathy Powell and husband Herbie and Curtis "Chip" Knight Jr. and wife Reba, 14 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends in Maple Grove Estates. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Chris Dray and sister, Pat Phelps. A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the Myersville Church of the Brethren, 201 Main Street, Myersville, MD 21773. Rev. R. Thomas Fralin Jr. and Rev.
