Michael Dale Sweeney

SPC Michael Dale Sweeney, 27, of Colorado Springs, died on March 23. Born on November 20, 1987, he was the son of William Sweeney and Donna Sweeney. An active duty member of the United States Army, Michael will be honored with a military funeral. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by twin brother William P. Sweeney, II and siblings Billie-Jo Devine and husband Jim, Heather Crittenden and husband Michael, Colleen Reed and husband John, Jacob M. Sweeney and Alexander J. Sweeney as well as a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 29 from 4 to 7 PM at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 30 at 10:00 AM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
