Gloria E. Tyeryar

Mrs. Gloria E. (Crummitt) Tyeryar, 89, of Frederick, died Friday, March 27, 2015. She was the wife of the late Reid F. Tyeryar, who preceded her in death in 2003. Born August 7, 1925, in Frederick County, she was the daughter of the late William and Edna Mae (Keith) Crummitt. Gloria is survived by sons; Charles T. Tyeryar and wife Dee Dee of Mt. Airy, Reid W. Tyeryar and wife Sue of Frederick, Arthur W. Tyeryar, Sr. and wife Betty of Frederick, Richard E. Tyeryar, Sr. and wife Sharon of Frederick and James D. Tyeryar and wife Tammy of Libertytown, daughters, Linda L. Reed and husband Max of Williamsport and Deborah A. Johnson and husband Ronald of Frederick, sister, Myra Jean Lee and husband Raymond of Emmitsburg, 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Paul D. Tyeryar, Mark J. Tyeryar and Frederick W. Tyeryar, brothers, William E. Crummitt Jr. and George A. Crummitt and sister, Delores M. O'Brien. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Monday, March 30, 2015, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel, at the funeral home. Pastor Bud Lusk will officiate.
