Born July 1, 2013 Miles passed away peacefully in his parents' arms on April 6, 2015 at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He left this world the same way he came into it, on his own terms. In passing, Miles was able to give the gift of life to other families. In his short life he brought so much joy to everyone who knew him. He loved to laugh and play and he loved to dance. He was always smiling and happy. He loved to "cuggle" with Mommy. His smile was infectious and he knew how to melt our hearts. Just 21 months old, Miles left us a lifetime of love and memories. Miles will be missed by his parents, Kathlyn and Robert Stevenson, his sister, Dagny Faye, his brother, Robert Holden and his little sister due next month; as well as grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. We cannot begin to express our gratitude for the loving care and kindness we received at Children's Hospital and to so many people who have offered their kind thoughts, prayers and support to our family.
