Mr. Daniel Edward Lang, 35, of Middletown, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015, at his home. Born in Hagerstown on October 4, 1979, he was the son of Francis C. Lang, Jr.,of Middletown and Betsy Meitzler Lang, of Boston. Daniel enjoyed cooking, working with his hands and was mechanically inclined. Surviving in addition to his parents, is one sister, Stephanie Y. Walker and husband James, of Dallas, TX, one aunt, Nancy Lang, of Virginia and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, C. Oland and Mildred Yinger Meitzler and Frank C. and Elizabeth Bonner Lang. Memorial services will be hled at 2 p.m., on Saturday, May 9, 2015, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pastor Janet Cregger, will officiate. Private interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
