Mrs. Betty Blumenauer Page, 93, of Frederick, died on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Homewood at Crumland Farms. She was born in Frederick on June 27, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Charles S. and Pauline Shearer Blumenauer. Betty had worked for many years as a dental assistant, for several local dentists and retired in 1986 as a nurse at the Monteuve Home. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving her are two grandchildren, Stephanie A. Page and Joseph W. Page, both of Frederick, three cousins, Martha Jean Foreman, Lora Grams and Richard Kennedy. She was preceded by her son, Kenneth J. Page and two brothers, L. Edward Blumenauer and C. Robert Blumenauer. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday, May 15, 2015, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Dr. Robert Driver Bishop, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
