Phyllis Jean (Hahn) Skinner, 75, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. She was the wife of the late William Dayton Skinner. Born on August 21, 1939 in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Ann Phoebus Hahn. Phyllis worked as a civilian supply manager at Fort Detrick. Phyllis is survived by her two daughters, Jeanne A. Skinner and Amy E. Skinner; one sister, Patricia Shafer; one grandson, Logan Thomas and her very dear friend, Judy Johnson. The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, May 27th at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will be meeting inside the gate at the Francis Scott Key Chapel before processing on to gravesite. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
