Terry Wayne Smith

March 30, 1956 — June 7, 2015

Mr. Terry Wayne Smith "Smitty", age 59 of Lime Kiln peacefully went to be with the lord on Sunday, June 7, 2015. Born on March 30, 1956, he was the son of the late Charles R. Sr., and Ethel L. Smith. He worked for many years for Valley Concrete and Cornelle Construction. He was currently working for Frederick Asphalt, Frederick. He had a love for the Ravins football team and horse racing. Most of all, Terry loved life and his beloved dog Rusty. He is survived by his six sisters and one brother, Florence Beachley and husband Gene of Brunswick, Becky DeGrange of Frederick, Jenny Boone and husband Wayne of Lime Kiln, Janet Linton and husband Butch of Frederick, Jerry Webb and husband John of Knoxville, Charles R. Smith, Jr. and wife Mary of Adamstown and Bonnie Hunter and husband Butch of Buckeystown along with many nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered by a special aunt Louise Smith and close friends Dawn Baugher and Richard Summers, and Kate and Scott Domning. He was proceeded in death by a brother Robert Lee Smith, a brother-in-law Paul DeGrange, Sr. a niece Barbara Shankle, a nephew Ronnie DeGrange and a nephew Sammy Divel. Friends will be received on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 6-9 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11 AM. Pastor Jeffrey Shaw will officiate. The interment will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
