Julius Caesar Bell

July 6, 1940 — June 26, 2015

Julius C. Bell, 74, died suddenly on June 26th in Frederick Md. He had recently moved from Greensboro NC. Born on July 6, 1940, he was the son of the late Julius C. Bell and Bessie Mae Huntley. He was the loving husband of Judy Bell who survives him. He was employed by AT&T for 30 years where he worked in many areas - the last being presenting contracts to the military. His avocation was golf which was his great love. He enjoyed visiting with friends and family, playing scrabble, gardening, playing pool, and he always wanted to be helpful to others especially to children. He is survived by his three children: Christina Bell, Timothy Bell and wife Rhonda, and Jason Bell and wife Jackie andhIs only grandchild, Bridget Bell as well as step Daughter Teri Barrett and her husband Stephen Barrett and their children Lisa Desiree Barrett, Timothy Barrett, Taylor Barrett. He is also survived by his mother Bessey Mae Huntley, two sisters, Irene Campbell, Rosalind Lackey, two brothers Joe Huntley and Leslie Huntley and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by 5 siblings. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11 at 2:00 PM at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick.
