Bolvine Veronica Fedorko

Mrs. Bolvine Veronica "Betty" Fedorko, 92, of Frederick, and formerly of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at the Glade Valley Center, in Walkersville. She was the wife of the late John Fedorko, USN Ret. Born in Jermyn, Pennsylvania on December 2, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Tillie Bednash Koval. She worked for many years as a nurse and she enjoyed dancing and playing bridge. Surviving are her children, John Fedorko, of Pensacola, FL, Michael Fedorko and Carol A. Cornwell, both of Frederick, and Mary A. Olliges and husband John, of Virginia Beach, VA, one sister, Louise Progar, of Westland, MI and eight grandchildren, Tara and Ludger, Tracy, Jamie and Nikki, Tommy, Nick and Brittney, Scarlett, Kedrin and Kelly, many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Fedorko and son-in-law, James Cornwell. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., on Monday, August 3, 2015, at Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 118 East Second Street, Frederick. Interment will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Fort Myer, VA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of Frederick County, P. O.
