Mr. Charles William Lidie, 86, of Frederick, lost his battle with Alzheimer's Disease, on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Barbara Ann (Fagan) Lidie, who preceded him in death in 2003. Born March 5, 1929, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Coleman J. Lidie and Margaret A. Suter Talbert. Mr. Lidie retired from the City of Frederick, where he was a brick mason. Before he got sick, he loved being outside and working around the brick home that he built. His greatest joy was spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charles is survived by his daughters, Sharon A. Rudy of Middletown and Teresa L. Cline and husband Ricky A. of Frederick, grandchildren, Jason Rudy and wife Nikki, Hope Cramer and husband Anthony, Kara Clemson and husband Daniel and Chelsea Rudy, great-grandchildren, Cole Rudy, Aria Cramer, and Lucus Clemson, one sister, Doris Berger of NY, several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Ashley Keller, siblings, Coleman Lidie, Thomas Lidie, Kenneth Lidie, Margaret Staley and Shirley Shafer. A graveside service will be held at 11AM, on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 515 S. Market St., Frederick, MD 21701. Pastor Janet Cregger will be officiating. Those wishing to attend will assemble at the FSK Chapel prior to processing to the grave site. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Charles W. Lidie to SOAR, P.O.
