Robert D. Mullican

Mr. Robert (Bob) Mullican of Buckingham's Choice, formerly a longtime resident of Damascus, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver, D. Ann Mullican. They were married for 63 years. He was born on August 6, 1932, in Lewisdale, the son of Carl Mullican and Helen Day Mullican. He owned and operated The Gaithersburg Barber Shop for over 40 years. He loved music and played the drums in local bands. His other hobby was raising azaleas and spending time with family. He is survived by his twin daughters, Deborah Cramer and husband Larry, of Mt. Airy; Marcia Robertson and husband Steve, of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Angela Morales and husband Mike of Ft. Myers, FL, Kimberly Paylor of Ft. Myers, FL, Keegan Cramer and wife Kendra of Charles Town, WV, and Amanda Elder and husband Josh of Sykesville, MD; great-grandchildren, Karson Cramer, Lauren Paylor, Sara Elder, Kate Elder and Norah Cramer. He is also survived by one brother, Ray Mullican and wife Olive of Frederick, and special cousin Wayne Mullican and wife Susan of Naples, FL. The family would like to thank the staff of Buckingham's Choice Terrace Gardens Health Care Center for their excellent care and compassion. Funeral services will be private with no visitation. Interment will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery.Arrangements are by Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, Frederick.
