Mr. David Michael "Mike" "Icey" Rhoderick, 65, of Frederick, passed from this life after an extended illness on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at the Golden Living Center, in Hagerstown. He was the loving husband of Lynn Rhoderick. Born in Frederick, on October 8, 1950, he was a son of David Lester "Icey" Rhoderick, of Frederick and the late Ruth Rebecca Devilbiss Rhoderick. Mike was a graduate of Thomas Johnson High School and had worked for 25 years at the Clorox Company. He was an avid Colts fan and enjoyed visits to Charles Town Races. He played softball, bowled for many years at Village Lanes and coached little league baseball. His dog, "Little Bear" will miss him. Surviving in addition to his wife and father are his sons, Andrew M. Rhoderick and Amber, Brian D. Rhoderick and Scott N. Rhoderick, all of Frederick, one brother, Ike Rhoderick and Cheri, of Frederick, grandson, Alexzander M. Rhoderick, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary P. Rhoderick. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Those wishing to attend will assemble within the main gate to proceed to the grave site. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick.
