Thomas Eugene Wills

Mr. Thomas Eugene Wills, age 73 of Frederick, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015. Born on October 15, 1942 in Frederick he was the son of the late John R. Wills, Sr. and Dorothy Baker. He is survived by his step father James Baker. Mr. Wills served in the United States Army, serving a tour in Vietnam from June of 1967 until June of 1969. He went to work at Dairy Maid here in Frederick until 2001. He was a member of the AmVets Post 2, Frederick. He was a lifelong fan of the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Cubs and also enjoyed bowling in his free time. Thomas was a 14 year resident of College View, Frederick before being moved to Charlotte's Home in Boonsboro where he passed away. Mr. Wills is survived by his brother, John R. Wills, Jr. and wife Phyllis of Frederick, stepbrothers Warren Baker and Rodney Baker, and stepsisters Mildred Plunkard and Debbie Cline. He is predeceased by his sister Shirley Freed and brother Charles Wills and his stepmother Katherine Shankle Wills. Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11 AM. The interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
