Mrs. Mary Ann Greene, 83, of Frederick MD,died Thursday, November 12, 2015, at her home. She was the wife of the late, Bob Greene, who predeceased her in 2000. She was also predeceased by her only brother, Thomas Muldowney Jr and wife Edith of Swarthmore PA, son-in-law, Edmund Paul Coffay IIIand great grandson, Colton Edward Bentz. Born January 2, 1932 in Minersville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Helen Muldowney. Mrs. Greene was a retired schoolteacher, having taught at St. John Regional Catholic School for 30 years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and Elizabeth Ann Seton. She is survived by three daughters, Ellen Coffay of Rockville, MD, Gretchen Chrisman and husband Marvin of Frederick and Julie Croneandhusband Dan of Braddock Heights MD. Surviving in addition to her daughters are her grandchildren: Edmund Coffay, Kevin Coffay and Mary Ellen Coffay, Lauren Bentz and husband, Todd, Katelyn Ashooh and husband, Justin, Emily Mooney and husband, Kyle, Paul Crone and wife, Jill, and one great grandchild, Brantley Bentz. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 118 East Second Street, Frederick MD 21701, where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Father Stephen Gosnell. Interment will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Frederick MD. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. John's Regional Catholic School, 8414 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick MD 21702.
