Mrs. Alice Clunn Ball, 82, of Adamstown, died Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late George Ball, who preceded her in death in 1989. Born May 25, 1933 in Millville, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Thelma (Howell) Clunn. Alice is survived by her sons, Martin Ball and wife Sally, Matthew Ball and wife Lynn May, daughter Melissa Parlon, Michael Ball and wife Julieann Ball; grandchildren, Kara Fermandez and husband Josh, Kasey Stoutin and husband Daylen, Carl Ball, Carly Ball, Colin Ball, Matthew Parlon, Mallorie Parlon, Megan Ball and Steven Ball, daughter-in-law, Meri-Lyn Ball, one great-grandchild, Emily, several nieces and nephews. Graduate of Trenton State (Teachers) College where she met George. Montgomery County Teacher for 25 plus years. Alice was a lifelong member of the Eastern Star. Was a Camp Fire leader for 10 years. She volunteered with the Montgomery County Police Department. She held many titles as a founding member of the Montgomery County Police Citizen Academy Alumni Association. She was actively involved as a Deacon for Wheaton Presbyterian Church. She served as the President of the Washington Capitals fan club in the early 80’s. Devoted dog lover. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm, on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Frederick Memorial Hospital (Hospice), 400 W. 7th Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Online condolences may be shared at www.keeneybasford
