Alice V. Whichello

February 17, 1916 — November 22, 2015

Mrs. Alice V. Whichello, age 99 longtime resident of Frederick, departed this life on Sunday, November 22, 2015 in the comfort of her own home. She was the wife of the late Arza S. Whichello who passed away in 1991. Born on February 17, 1916 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Julia (Filby) Lambright.

Mrs. Whichello "Granny" was a 1933 graduate of Frederick High School. In her free time, she was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, sewing and needlework. She was very outspoken.

Mrs. Whichello was the mother of Jackie Grabill and her late husband L. Kenneth, II; the grandmother of Lloyd K. Grabill, III and Brent C. Grabill; the great-grandmother of Lloyd K. Grabill IV "Ryder", and Reagan S. Grabill. She is also survived by her nephew Mike and niece Phyllis. She is preceded in death by her brother Harry S. Lambright "Pete".

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10 am. The interment will follow at Mt.
