Miss. Jean Norris Yingling, age 87 a lifelong resident of Adamstown, MD, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2015. Jean was born and raised in Adamstown and attended Frederick County schools gradating from Frederick High School in 1945. She worked in the insurance industry after graduating from high school and was employed in the Baltimore area for 10 years. Jean settled into life in Adamstown often playing the organ for Grace Reformed Church during church services. She enjoyed a simple life until her passing.
Jean was predeceased by her father, William King Yingling, her mother, Edith O'Hara Yingling and brother, John Yingling. She is survived by her sister, Edith Joyce Hinder who currently resides in Bel Air, Maryland. A Christian burial service will be held at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, Maryland on December 7, 2015 at 2 PM.
