Jimmy Foundas

Mr. Jimmy Foundas, age 82 of Frederick, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. He was the beloved husband for 54 years of Helen Foundas. Born on August 9, 1933 in Sparta, Greece, he was the son of the late John and Efthemia Foundas and the step son of the late Georgia Foundas.Mr. Foundas was the founder of Starvin Marvin Pizza in Gaithersburg and Frederick.Mr. Foundas was the father of John (Sarah), George (Georgia), and Dino (Beth); the grandfather of Alexa (Michael), Nick, Christina, Brooke, Brylee, Nicole, Dimitri, Kristen, Aidan and Lucas; the brother of Aphrodite Tripiotis and Chris Foundas. He is preceded in death by brothers Dino and Nick Foundas.Friends will be received on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 5 to 7 pm at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 10 am at St. Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 920 W. 7th St., Frederick.
