Florence Lorraine Mcdonough

Mrs. Florence Lorraine McDonough, 95, of Ijamsville, died Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Glade Valley Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Thomas Calvin McDonough.

Born June 8, 1920, in Frederick Co., MD, she was the daughter of the late Maurie and Uena Page.

Mrs. McDonough and her husband had a dairy farm in Ijamsville from 1950 to 1989. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose 371, Frederick. She loved making ceramics and spending time with her family. She was also a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and the Homemakers Club.

Lorraine is survived by her four daughters, Texanna Dutrow of Frederick, Terry Hartsock (Ronald), Jeanette Burdette (Donald) and Thomascina "Tommy" Wahl (Patrick) all of Ijamsville, grandchildren, Kevin Hartsock, Stacey Morton (Gary), Lynn Poteat (Charley), Jason Dutrow (Jill), Kimberly Burdette (Tim Beachley) Christine Burdette (Rob), Chad Wahl Sr. (Cathy), Colby Wahl (Tonya) and Rebecca Himes (Rob), great-grandchildren, Greg Morton (Stephanie), Brad Morton (Samantha), Cole Dutrow, Grace Dutrow, Chad Wahl Jr., Crystal Wahl, Catrina Wahl, Stephen Abbott, Natas Himes, Anika Poteat and Sam Burdette.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Page and John Page and sister, Shirley Glavin.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11am, on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00AM, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel at the funeral home. Pastor David Ochoa will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
