Gerald Thomas Conroy, Sr.

Mr. Gerald Thomas Conroy, Sr., 73, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Montgomery Hospice Casey House, Rockville.  He was the husband of the late Mildred Davis Conroy.  Born on January 3, 1943, he was the son of the late Thomas George Conroy and Elizabeth Marie McKnight Conroy.

He is survived by his children, Gerald Thomas Conroy, Jr. and wife Beth, Mindy Dunnigan and longtime companion Scott Cole and Melissa Whitehouse and husband Vance as well as his grand-daughters Leah and Ruth Whitehouse.  Mr. Conroy is also survived by his siblings, Michael Conroy, Barbara Kline, Susan Bush and husband David and Colleen Conroy as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 7 from 6 – 8 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 8 at 11:00 AM in the mausoleum at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 515 South Market Street, Frederick.  Those wishing to attend should assemble at the FSK Chapel no later than 10:45 AM.
