Marian Marie Chamberlin

Mrs. Marian Marie Chamberlin, 91. of Brunswick and formerly of Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016, in her home, at Brunswick House. She was the wife of the late Herman G. Claar and the late Leroy Chamberlin. Born in Altoona, PA, on June 22, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Arthur David and Mabel Mae McConnell McDonald.

Mrs. Chamberlin was an active member of the Faith Baptist Church and the Brunswick Senior Center. She was also active in the Brunswick House Community.

Surviving are her five children, Bill Claar and wife Shirley, of Hollidaysburg, PA, Dorothy Eury, of Hagerstown, Nancy Hawker and husband, Wayne Haupt, of Burkittsville, Joy Claar, of Hagerstown and Herm Claar and wife Pat, of Kearneysville, WV, a son-in-law, Gary Balty and wife Juanita, of Keedysville, one brother, Thomas McDonald and wife Vivian, of Magnolia, DE, brother-in-law, Phillip Williamson, of Paulsboro, NJ, 21 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by special friends, Janet, Mary, Ellen and Brandy. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Balty, her son, David Claar and a sister, Doris Williamson.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m., until 1 p.m., on Monday, January 18, 2016, at the Faith Baptist Church, Knoxville. Where the funeral service will begin at 1 PM. Rev. Duane Musgrove and Rev. Ed Jordan, will officiate. Private interment will be in Altoona, PA.
