Lawrence Donald Allison

Mr. Lawrence Donald "Larry" Allison, 83, of Frederick, died on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra Miss Allison. Born in Salisbury, PA, on February 29, 1932, he was a son of the late Donald L. Allison and Ethel Swartzwelder Kegley.

Larry was retired from the US Air Force and had served during the Korean War and Vietnam. He was a life member of the Francis Scott Key American Legion and enjoyed, hunting, fishing, bow hunting and playing golf.

Surviving in addition to his wife are sisters, Lynne Sells and husband Klaus Franken, Victoria McMillan and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Tobey.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Interment will be private. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home.
