Roy Brunner Miller

June 14, 1932 — January 17, 2016

Mr. Roy B. Miller, age 83 of Frederick, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2016. He was the husband of Betty H. Miller. Born on June 14, 1932 in Frederick County, he was the son of the late Olive F. Dixon.

Mr. Miller was a graduate of Frederick High School in the class of 1950. He served in the United States Army in the 11th Airborne during the Korean War. He later became an electrician working as a self employed electrical contractor. When he was not working, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Miller was the father of Tony Miller and wife Sue, Tim Miller and wife Vickie and Kenny Miller, the grandfather of 10 and the great-grandfather of 16. He is also survived by his brother Kenneth Miller and sister Shirley Cartwright. He is preceded in death by his brother Charles Miller and sister Juanita Hoggatt. He will also be remembered by his good friend Ramona Ridgely.

Friends will be received on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 10 to 11 am at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 10625 Old Frederick Rd, Thurmont, MD 21788 where services will begin at 11 am. Rev. Albert K. Lane III will officiate. The interment will follow in the adjacent cemetery.
