Marcia Louro Delorme

Mrs. Marcia Louro Delorme, 76, of Frederick, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Raymond V. Delorme.

Born September 2, 1939 in New Bedford, MA. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Daluz) Louro.

Marcia was a long time member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was a volunteer at at St. John's Regional Catholic School, was a receptionist at St. John's Prospect Hall and a volunteer at Golden Living Heath Care. Also, Marcia was an aid at Brookhill Preschool and a member of the Catholic Daughters No. 278.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Michelle Marie Montes, sons, Michael Delorme and Douglas Delorme and wife Caroline, grandsons, Ryan Jeremy Delorme and Connor Liam Delorme, brother, Joseph Louro, sisters, Judith Roderigues and Theresa Paiva, numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Paul Louro.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm, on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30AM, Monday, February 1, 2016, at St. John's Catholic Church, 112 E. 2nd Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Father Hector Mateus will officiate Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Catholic Church, 118 E. 2nd Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
