David Randell White

September 17, 1959 — February 5, 2016

Mr. David R. White, also known as Whitey, Randy and Dave, age 56 of Frederick, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016. He is survived by his longtime girlfriend Terri L. Morgan. Born on September 17, 1959 in Frederick he was the son of the late Lowell White, the late Charles Nusbaum and Frances (Bradshaw) Nusbaum.

Mr. White was a 1977 graduate of Linganore High School. Following high school he served in the United States Navy. He was a first class Millwright, most recently at Lehigh Hanson in Union Bridge. He was a longtime member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider and was a lead singer in several Southern rock bands, most notably Dead Man's Hand, Nightwatch, and Every Mother's Son.

Mr. White is the father of Jessica M. Cook and husband Ronald G; the grandfather of Caylin, Chloe, and Clay Cook and Kasey Roberts; the brother of Mark E. White, Charles W. Nusbaum, Jr. and wife Mary and Brad W. Nusbaum and wife Laura. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and will be remembered by many biker brothers and sisters. Mr. White is preceded in death by his sister Maria K. Edwards.

Friends will be received on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 1 to 3 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. A memorial service will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 11 AM. Rev. Sandi Evans Rogers from the Frederick Church of the Brethren will officiate. The interment will be private.
