Judith Ann Seliga

August 22, 1944 — February 19, 2016

Judith A. Seliga, age 71, of Middletown, MD passed away at her home on February 19, 2016. She was the wife of Regis Seliga, whom she married on July 18, 1964. Born August 22, 1944 in New York, she was the daughter of Frank and Pauline Hames.

After graduating from High Point High School in Prince Georges County, she worked for Suburban Trust and Co, and later as a housewife. When the children got older, she worked for Dr. Leroy Davis and Parkview Medical/Frederick Memorial Hospital.

She was a very loving mother and companion and will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Judith is survived by her son Richard Seliga and wife Michelle of Mt. Airy, MD, son Jeff Seliga and companion Lillian Conover of Myersville, MD, son Robert Seliga and wife Kirra of Frederick, MD, grandsons Michael Seliga, Joshua Moore, Wesley Seliga, Ian Seliga, granddaughters Austin Seliga, Amber Hubble and husband Scott, Alexandra Seliga, and great grandsons Damien and Vincent Hubble as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Pauline Hames, her brother Keith Hames, and sister Beverly Mills.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 23 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. A private funeral will be held on February 24, 2016 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, MD. Flowers will be accepted or Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, PO Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
