Carlton "Bruce" Cole

Carlton “Bruce” Cole, 52, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016. Bruce was born on March 12 th , 1963, in Frederick and was the beloved son of the late Meredith William and Roberta “Bobbie” Cole Sr. Bruce was the youngest of four children born to Meredith and Bobbie and was preceded in death by his two brothers, David Michael Cole and Meredith William Cole Jr. He is survived by his sister, Bonnie J. Frushour and husband Paul. Bruce was a graduate of Rock Creek School and loved playing pool, spending time with his many friends and listening to old country music.

In addition to his sister and brother-in-law, Bruce is survived by his two nephews, Meredith W. Cole III and Cory D. Cole and their children, numerous cousins, his dear friends, Petie Rose, Jayme Cline, Dr. Swami Nathan and Sue, Charlie, his friends at Jim Frank Bail Bonds, his friend Ralph Wiles, and Bruce’s girls, April, Wendy, Sonya and Alex.

In addition to his parents, and brothers, Bruce was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Edna Wallace, his paternal grandparents Lewis and Elsie Cole and his uncle, George H. Wallace.

Friends will be received from 1-2pm on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will begin at 2pm. Inurnment will be with his parents in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
