Robert Eugene Crummitt

Mr. Robert "Bob" "Sonny" Eugene Crummitt, age 79 of Frederick passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Glade Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Walkersville. He was the husband of the late Evelyn (Chittuem) Crummitt. Born on March 10, 1937 he was the son of the late Grover and Bessie (Bruchey) Crummitt.Mr. Crummitt worked for over 40 years for the City of Frederick.Mr. Crummitt was the father of Cheryl Crummitt of Frederick, the uncle of Susan Hot and Trisha Mason and the great-uncle of Dawn Holt. He is predeceased by his two sisters Barbara Zepp and Helen "Booty" Hogan.Friends will be received on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 5-7 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., were services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 2 PM. The interment will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
