Frances Marie Brody

Frances Marie Brody of Frederick, Md. passed away on Sunday May, 15th. She was born July 14, 1933 in Hoboken, New Jersey to Mary and Charlie Guastella.  She was raised in West New York, NJ where she met her future husband Herbert Brody. After marrying, they moved to several locations as he developed his career. They finally settled in the Washington, DC area where they raised all of her children. She was a devoted wife, homemaker, and loving mother. She devoted her life to her children. Through a kind heart and a patient ear for listening, she was a comfort to all who knew her.

Frances is survived by all 6 children, Irene, Thomas, Scott, Michael, Lisa and John and her Husband, Herb. She has 12 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by her two brothers, Vinnie and Carmen Guastella.

The family will receive friends from 10am to 1pm, on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00PM, on Friday, May 20, 2016, at St. John's Catholic Church, 118 E. 2nd Street, Frederick. Entombment will follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery.
