Ethen Ray Williams

Mr. Ethen Ray Williams, 48, of Frederick, died Sunday, May 22, 2016 at his residence.

Born February 7, 1968, in Longview, TX, he was the son of the late Wayne and Betty (Casso) Williams, Sr.

Ethen resided in two different homes with MedSource Community Services, Inc. for the past several years (7/9/2012). He previously worked with Goodwill Industries of Monocacy Valley, Inc., and most recently participated in the Unified Community Connections day program. Ethen will be greatly missed by his housemates, caregivers and staff at MedSource and peers and staff at Unified Community Connections.

Ethen is survived by his siblings, Ranie Thompson, Rebe Schaefer and husband Dan and Carrie Shinneman and husband Joe, nieces and nephews, Danny Ray Bozarth, Bryant Bozarth, Alan Dale Roberts, Toni McElhinney, Clinton Schaefer, Casie Krop and Savannah Schaefer.

In addition to his parents, Ethen was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Williams, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3pm, on Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Mt. Airy Bible Church, 16700 Old Frederick Road, Mt. Airy, MD 21771. The funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00PM, at the church. Pastor H. Wallace Webster will officiate.
