George William Haws

February 20, 1938 — May 27, 2016

Mr. George William Haws, 78, of Gettysburg, PA died on May 27 at SpiriTrust Lutheran Retirement Village, Gettysburg. Born on February 20, 1938 in Philamont, Virginia, he was the loving husband of Annie Haws.

Mr. Haws is survived by 5 children, numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren as well as one brother. He will be sadly missed.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 1 from 4 - 7 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 7:00 PM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
