Chris William Munday, Jr

Chris William Munday, Jr., 21, of Middletown, died on Monday, June 6, 2016 of injuries sustained in an ATV accident in Buckeystown. He was the son of Debra Marie Garner, of Middletown, and the late Chris William Munday, Sr.

Born August 16, 1994 in Frederick, Chris was a 2012 graduate of Middletown High School, where he excelled in sports enjoying baseball and participating in the Championship football teams. Chris loved the outdoors and was always found hanging with friends while they headed to the river, mud bogged, held cookouts and worked on their trucks. He loved four-wheeling, anything with a motor, drinking beer and socializing with his friends. He currently worked in landscaping. He loved spending time with his dog, Marley.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his sister, Shannon Ramsburg and husband Richard; two brothers, Robert Garner and wife, Melissa and Brett Munday; two step-brothers, David Allen, and Michael Allen III; his grandparents, John and Jane Garner, of Frederick and Donald and Patricia Munday, of South Carolina; step-father, Michael Allen, Jr; five nephews, Curtis (CJ), Dylan, Jaxon, Maddox, and Bronx.

He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, including devoted cousins, Ashley, Kayla (aka KayKay) and daughter Payton, and Aunt Teri.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 4pm on Sunday, June 12 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Services and interment will be private.
