Kristin Louise Wells

Mrs. Kristin Louise Bingham Wells, "Krissy", 34, of Buckeystown, passed away at home on June 8 after a long struggle with addiction. She was the wife of Marvin Wells, Jr. Born on February 21, 1982, she was the daughter of Dave Bingham and Kathy Fazenbaker McLearn.

Krissy graduated from Gaithersburg High School in 2000 and was on the dance team, then attended The University of Tampa where she majored in exercise and nutrition science. She was an Information Program Specialist for the U.S. Department of Energy. In her free time, Krissy enjoyed fishing, country music and watching the Washington Redskins as well as football in general.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her beloved children Kylee Layne Bingham and Konler Wells; step mother Pat Bingham and step father Donald McLearn; siblings William Bingham of Melbourne, Australia and Kerry Brendel and husband Zack of Woodbine; step-siblings Scott McLearn and wife Kata of Oslo, Norway, Molly Fernandes and husband Sergio of Vienna, VA, Tim and Dennis Ward. Krissy is additionally survived by 6 nieces and nephews as well as a number of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 13 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 14 at 10:00 AM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Manor Cemetery.
