Cheryl L. Crummitt

Ms. Cheryl Lynn "Cookie" Crummitt, age 47 of Frederick, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at her residence. She was born on November 9, 1968 in Frederick and was the daughter of the late Robert E. Crummitt and Evelyn Smith.

Cheryl was a 1986 graduate of Parry McCluer High School in Buena Vista, Virginia. During her life she worked in security and also in the restaurant industry.

Cheryl is survived by her cousins Patricia A. Mason, Susan E. Holt, and Dawn R. Holt and her aunts Helen Hogan and Barbara Zepp.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11 AM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. Pastor Scott Clawson will officiate. The inurnment of her cremains will be private at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
