Carol Figgins

April 28, 1956 — August 3, 2016

Ms. Carol Ann Figgins, 60, of Rocky Ridge, went to be with her lord on August 3, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born on April 28, 1956, she was the daughter of Virginia (Fogle) Figgins and the late Warren B. Figgins.

Ms. Figgins was a longtime cashier and clerk for numerous retail stores. She was very much a people person and she made friends very easily. Carol moved to Rocky Ridge over 10 years ago. She enjoyed antiques, yard sales, time with family and friends - especially girl trips and gardening. Earlier in her life, she enjoyed traveling for her job.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her boyfriend, Denny Edwards and her daughter Lisa Adams and her husband Noel as well as grandchildren Matthew Adams and Megan Adams. She is also survived by her brothers David Figgins and Charles Figgins and numerous nieces and nephews. Ms. Figgins was preceded in death by brothers Glenn Figgins and Warren "Whitey" Figgins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20 at 11:00 AM at Calvary United Methodist Church, 131 West Second Street, Frederick, Reverend Harry C. Cole officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
