William Czartoryski

April 1, 1948 — August 27, 2016

Mr. William J. "Bill" Czartoryski, 68, of Frederick, MD, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. He was the husband of Mary A. Monroe Czartoryski. Born in Erie, PA on April 1, 1948, he was a son of the late Anthony and Bernice Ptasinski Czartoryski.
Bill proudly served his country for nine years in the United States Air Force. He worked for most of his life as an accountant. He enjoyed attending flea markets, auctions and had a great love for genealogy.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a brother, Richard Czartoryski, of Erie and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Czartoryski and brother, Frank Czartoryski.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. The Rev. Dr. Larry Eubanks, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
