Mrs. Mary Lauretta Diller Cutsail, 90, of Woodsboro, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at St. Joseph's Ministries of St. Catherine's Nursing Center, Emmitsburg. She was the loving wife of the late Charles E. Cutsail. They were married on September 26, 1948. Born on March 13, 1926, in Olney, she was the daughter of the late Charles Emory and Mabel Kessler Diller.
Mrs. Cutsail was a homemaker for most of her life, she enjoyed canning, working on crafts and painting, and working in her flower gardens. Her biggest passion was the love she shared with her entire family and many friends, and her home was always open to all, especially the visit 's with her pastor's. She was member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Woodsboro.
Surviving are her six children, Diane Y. Derr, of Frederick, Sharon L. Smith and husband Kevin, of Severna Park, Barbara J. Crum and husband Melvin, of New Midway, Wanda (Sue) Wisner and husband Larry, of Walkersville, Janet C. Grossnickle, of Woodbine and William Keith Cutsail and wife Yanina of Woodsboro. She will also be sadly missed by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles David Cutsail and her brother, Roland Emory Diller.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m., on Monday, September 12, 2016, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m., on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at the funeral home. Rev. Kathryn Rohrbach, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
