Shirley Ann Weller

Shirley Ann (Lawson) Weller, 79, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Kline Hospice House. She was the loving wife of her late husband Eugene Weller.

Born on May 16, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Gladys Lawson. Shirley was a graduate of Frederick High School, class of 1955 and worked for Frederick Mutual for 48 years before retiring in 2015. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses Monocacy congregation. She loved her family, loved to bake and enjoyed shopping. The love and wisdom she imparted to her family will forever remain in their hearts.

She is survived by her son, Jeffery Eugene Weller; one brother, Kenneth Lawson and wife Pat, three sister-in-law’s, Doris Hamilton, Pauline Lawson and Betty Smith; three brother-in-law’s, Robert Weller, Chris Weller and James Hamilton; two grandchildren, Allen Weller and wife Shana and Keisha Weller and husband Brad; and four great grandchildren, Taya, Gavin, Logan and Jaxson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rudy Lawson.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Pat Lawson and Barbara Lawson for their love and care.

The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. The funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, September 26 th at the funeral home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. I.nterment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
