Betty May Burall

Mrs. Betty May Wachter Burall, 88, of Frederick, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at the Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Henry L. Burall, who died on July 11, 2013. Born in Frederick on September 6, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Nellie Winpigler Wachter.
For many years Betty worked as a hairdresser from her home in Yellow Springs. She was a member of the Brook Hill United Methodist Church, the Amvets Auxiliary and former member of the Frederick Moose Lodge.
Surviving is her daughter, Susan Flynt, of Yellow Springs,  three grandchildren, Stephanie Nestor and husband Chris, Jason Flynt and fiancée Cassie and Tamara Price and husband Kevin, three great grandchildren, Alexa CJ and Aralyn Price. She was preceded in death by a son, Lewis M. Burall and sister, Doris Kettells.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. The Rev. Dana Werts, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
