Frank Wayne Jewell

Mr. Frank Wayne Jewell, 68, of Brunswick, died Monday, October 24, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Patricia "Patty" Jewell for 42 years.

Born January 26, 1948, at his home in Buckeystown, he was the son of the late Earl W. and Grace K. (Roberts) Jewell.

Frank loved his job at Ausherman Builders where he retired after 36 years and his employment at North Frederick Elementary for 2 years. He enjoyed working with his crafts and doing odd jobs for his neighbors. Most importantly, Frank enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his children, Patricia "Trish" Jewell Frye and husband Damon of Frederick, Frank Jewell and wife Jennifer of Frederick, Tracy Jewell White and husband Gerald of Brunswick and Cassandra Jewell Crone and husband John Cameron of Brunswick, siblings, Clara V. Goff of Akron, OH, Katherine I. Mock of Yellow Springs, Robert W. Jewell Sr. of Thurmont and Reed D. Jewell of Thurmont, 12 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He was a very caring and giving person. He loved his dogs, Cody and Mojo.

Frank was preceded in death by his siblings, William E. Kruger Sr., John T. Tobery Sr., Clifford E. Jewell, Doris M. Mock and Rosalie Huse..

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral will be held at 1:00PM, on Friday, October 28, 2016 in the Etchison Memorial Chapel. Pastor Steve Rose will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Jefferson.
