Doris Turner Sabine

Mrs. Doris Turner Sabine, age 80 of Frederick, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016. She was married for 31 years to the late Henry Hill Sabine, Sr. Born on May 26, 1936 in Washington DC she was the only child of the late Julian and Minnie Turner.Mrs. Sabine served the Montgomery County School system as an administrative assistant for 25 years. She was active in Frederick County 4-H and helped begin the therapeutic horse riding program. In her retirement, she lived in East Berlin, PA where she stayed active serving on the town council and was a member of the historical society. In her free time, she enjoyed collecting primitive antiques and folk art.Mrs. Sabine was the mother of Jane S. Mangum, Henry H. Sabine, Jr., the late Julia S. May and Paul T. Sabine; the grandmother of 6 and the great-grandmother of 1.A memorial service will be held at the New Market United Methodist Church, 5501 Old New Market Rd, New Market, MD 21774 on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 4 PM.
