Mr. Charles Madison "Chuck" Johnson, 53, of Frederick, died on Saturday, November 26, 2016, in Frederick. He was the husband of Renee Baum Johnson. Born on June 26, 1963, in Buffalo, New York, he was a son of Jane Piccolo Johnson, of Lake Worth, FL and the late William Robert Johnson.
Chuck worked as a foreman and crane operator for Midasco. His biggest love was spending time with his family and many friends. He had many hobbies which included, guns, fishing, crabbing, camping, cooking, gardening and the love of the outdoors. He enjoyed vintage cars and his street rod. Chuck loved working with his hands, fixing and building almost anything and would help anyone. He was a NASCAR fan, Minnesota Viking fan and a SAL member of the American Legion in Crownsville.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife and mother is his daughter, Angela M. Dodson and Adam, of Middletown, his brother, Michael Johnson and Susie, of Wellington, FL, two sisters, Lori Mohr and David and Lynne Fazio and Randy, all of Crofton, also surviving are his in-laws, Eileen and Frank Gay, of Bowie and Richard and Jane Baum, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at the Elks Lodge, 289 Willowdale Drive, Frederick, MD 21702. Interment will be at a later date. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Frederick, MD. Online condolences may be shared at keeneybasford.com.
