Robert Leon Crummitt

Mr. Robert Leon "Bob" Crummitt, 78, of Frederick, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016, at the Northampton Manor Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Barbara Jean Hardman Crummitt. Born in Bartonsville on April 15, 1938, he was a son of the late Dewey  S. "Dude" and Evelyn Sier Crummitt.
Bob had worked for several years as the service manager for Ideal Garage and was retired from the City of Frederick. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.
Surviving is his sister, Sally Baker and husband Charles of Frederick, grandson, Dusty Crummitt, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert W. "Bugs" Crummitt and brothers, Joney, Jake, John and Larry Crummitt.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 1 p.m., at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Rev. Jennifer Smith, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
