Mary Beatrice Stream

April 28, 1936 — December 11, 2016

Mary Beatrice Stream, 80, of Knoxville and formerly Point of Rocks, Maryland, went home to be with the Lord on December 11, 2016. She was the wife of 56 years to the late George Melvin Stream.
Born on April 28, 1936 she was the daughter of Alice McCutchen. Mary loved to play bingo and watch the Redskins and Orioles. Mary is survived by one son, Darren Stream and wife Brenda; five daughters, Deborah Newell and husband David, Sharon Longerbeam and husband Robert, Bonnie Marshall and husband Steve, Donna Whetzel and husband Michael, Rita Hose and husband Eugene; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Melvin Stream and granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Newell.
The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. The funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 17th at the funeral home. Betty King will officiate. Interment will follow in Saint Pauls Episcopal Church Cemetery in Point of Rocks.
