Kenneth Ray Cornett

Mr. Kenneth Cornett, 82, of Frederick, died Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Kline Hospice House, Mt. Airy. He was the husband of the late Lois Cornett.

Born September 13, 1934 in Knoxville, TN. Kenneth was a veteran of the US Navy for 4 years during the Korean War. For the past five years, he lived with his granddaughter, Susan Houston and her husband Glenn Houston and their children, William, Eddie and Marty in Spring Ridge. His hobbies included bowling, pool, cards and horseshoes. He was very active in the Frederick senior community.

Kenneth is survived by his sons, Kenny Cornett and Kevin Cornett, stepson, Bill Ray, stepdaughter, Gail Bieszka, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial committal service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
