Rae C. Harris

Mrs. Rae C. Harris, age 86, of Middletown passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Vindobona Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Frederick. She is survived by her Husband of 56 years, Edward W. Harris. Born on September 8, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Caputo.

In addition to being a homemaker, she spent a number of years in the workforce as a secretary and was also active in sales. Rae enjoyed cooking and traveling with her husband. Her favorite places to visit were Florida, and Alaska where they went on an Alaskan Cruise for their 50th wedding anniversary.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Harris is survived by her son E. Wesley Harris, III and wife Suzanne Lee of Rochester, New York, and her Granddaughter Anica Harris.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 6 to 7 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11 am. Interment services will be private in the Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, New York.
