Martha Rosalia Hagerman

?Martha R. Smith Hagerman, 62, of Frederick, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. She was greeted in Heaven into the loving arms of her Daddy and Mama, the late Louis E. and Julia J. Smith, both formerly of Frederick.
Martha was born on November 23, 1954. She graduated from Frederick High School in 1972. She went on to work at the Rice Tire Company of Frederick, starting in 1977. She was a dedicated and hardworking employee for 40 years.
Martha’s family was her love and joy. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 36 years, Robert A. Hagerman of Frederick; her daughter, Amanda K. Harrell and husband David of Myrtle Beach, SC; her granddaughter, who daily filled her with love and joy, Julia S. Harrell, also of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is also survived by her loving brothers and sisters, Pam Peacemaker (John) of Middletown, VA; Frosty Smith (Sandy) of Sevierville, TN; Mindy Frye (Raymond) of Frederick, Laurie Trammel of Frederick, and Tim Smith (Deb) also of Frederick.
Martha leaves behind many caring and loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. She will be remembered as a kind, generous, loving and quite often humorous wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Michael D. Bunn Jr.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 10-11 AM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, the service will begin at 11AM. Inurnment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
