John Thomas Himes

Mr. John Thomas Himes, 84, of Frederick, died Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Northampton Manor. He was the husband of Nancy Thomas Himes. Born February 24, 1933 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Paul and Florence (Carmack) Himes. John was brick layer and mason foreman for most of his life. He loved drag racing and his mustang cars. In the evenings, he enjoyed playing cards with his wife. He was a generous and hardworking man. In addition to his wife, John is survived by his brothers, Paul Himes Jr. and wife Mariam and David Himes and wife Wanda, numerous nieces and nephews.
