James Franklin Higgins Sr.

James Franklin Higgins Sr., 63, of Jefferson, passed away unexpectedly on July 31, 2017 at Inova Fairfax Hospital. He was the loving Husband of Marion "Susan" Higgins for almost 38 years.

Born on February 23, 1954, in Charleston, WV he was the son of the late Dudley and Bonnie Higgins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Gary Richard and Jeffrey Higgins.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by his children, James Franklin Higgins Jr and wife Alisha Marie from Urbana, Daniel Edward Higgins of Boonsboro, Charles Gilbert Higgins and wife Jessica Michelle of Brunswick, Leanne Michelle and significant other Anthony Boyer of Jefferson; grandchildren Ava Makenzie Higgins, Jackson James Higgins, Annabelle Lynae Boyer, Emma Grace Higgins, and Lillian Faith Higgins; sister, Joan Dudley Hendrickson, and husband Hunt; brother-in- law, Donald E. Schoenmann and wife Toni; sisters- in-law, Sandra Irene Schoenmann, and Constance Higgins, as well as many nieces and nephews.

James worked as a Service Director for many years for DARCARS Automotive in Fairfax, VA, and will be greatly missed by his DARCARS Family.

A celebration of life will be held at 6pm, on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 106 W. Church St., Frederick, Maryland, 21701.
